Mr.  Amuzu Faglah is one of the seven beneficiaries of 2024 Galaxy Family Basket Christmas gift outreach. Mr. Amuzu’s story is one that truly deserves recognition and support. He is an Ewe whose family migrated from the Volta Region or Togo and settled in Koforidua over 60 years ago. He attended Koforidua Methodist Boys in the early 60s and now-defunct Ghana Commercial College. His father once operated a corn mill, which provided educational opportunities for his younger brothers. He worked at the ministry of agriculture as a labour force until his retirement around 2015. Unfortunately, after his father's passing, this corn mill business collapsed, leaving the family in a difficult situation. Brother Amuzu is currently living in a rented house and is approaching 70 years of age. His family has no land or substantial resources to rely on. In light of his circumstances Galaxy Family Basket included Mr Amuzu in our Christmas outreach and we hope this this way of sharing will bring joy and happiness to his life during this festive season.
