MR. K.G. BOATENG
Like the sunflower it begins to get energized at sunrise and by noon when the sun is high in the skies it turns right to face the sun and tap enough energy for its own sustenance, as the day grows it begin to gather momentum, and then alas the beaming sun begins to set and so the sunflower begins to go down, drained by the vigorous work that comes with growth. . As night falls, the dark moon takes over, bringing rest and renewal in preparation for the sun's return. This is the cycle of life.
Today, Mr. K.G. Boateng reminds us of this natural rhythm. A man who has carried the crowd on his shoulders, Mr. Boateng is a retiree of Ghana Health Services. Before his retirement, he served as the Human Resources Manager at the Nursing and Midwifery College in Kumasi. However, in the years following his retirement, old age and ill health have left him incapacitated. Mr. Boateng attended Ghana Senior Secondary School in Koforidua, and later pursued further studies at GIMPA, Christian Service University, and the University of Education, Kumasi Campus, where he completed his degree and master's programs, respectively.
A kind man who has served his community with dedication, Mr. Boateng has left a lasting impact. This Christmas, the Galaxy Family Basket is honored to share our yearly Christmas gift with him, as our way of saying, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." We hope that this gift brings a reason to smile as we approach the holiday season. At Galaxy Family Basket, we care for those in need.
Until then, Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
