In our country Ghana, countless of such vulnerable and needy children struggle daily to find these basic necessities. These children, often invisible to the broader community, face hardships that no child should endure.
Recognizing this dire situation, a compassionate group of individuals founded THE GALAXY FAMILY BASKET, a charitable initiative dedicated to soliciting financial and other forms of support to uplift these children. This is part 1 of a series of articles that explores the various aspects of their plight, aiming to touch the hearts of readers and inspire them to donate and make a difference. It covers the physical, economic, moral, educational and exploitation environments of these children.
Physical Environment of these children
Many of these children live in deplorable physical conditions, often in makeshift shelters, streets and/or overcrowded slums. These conditions expose them to numerous risks and health hazards. Their homes, if they have them at all, are inadequate, lacking basic amenities such as clean water, sanitation, and electricity. This economic strain forces some children into child labour, depriving them of their childhood and educational opportunities. Moral Environment of these children

Exploitation of these children
Exploitation, including child labour and trafficking, It is a grim reality for many needy children. Desperate circumstances force them into hazardous work environments, depriving them of their childhood and education. THE GALAXY FAMILY BASKET advocates for the rights of these children, collaborates with law enforcement to combat exploitation, and provides them with the resources to escape such situations.
